Summer projects

  A major project we wanted to do this summer was to build a small roadside stand. We live on a fairly busy road with a lot of tourism traffic heading toward a popular state park so we thought it may be a good place to sell some produce, crafts, fresh cut flower bouquets and other things.          Here we are deciding on the design and just actually where the stand should sit.                                    Ah, finally! The walls are up! This is the stage the stand is in right now, but I'll be sure to post more pictures once it's finished and up and running!  Our friends, Steve & Gwen Geise, came over the for an afternoon and helped us put it up.                         These are some examples of the bouquets we hope to sell in the stand.     Several weeks ago, Dad was driving a few hundred feet behind a Township truck when our windshield was hit by a flying stone and cracked in several places.
