Autumn in Missouri!

As wonderful as vacations are, it is always a blessing and comfort to get home and back into a regular schedule! There is school to do, music to practice, animals to feed and projects to accomplish!

Christmas music is in full swing! (no pun intended here...)

So are music lessons, with Jonathan, Laura, and Caleb all taking piano from their big sister and violin from mom.

He's taking it very seriously here!

While I was practicing the other day, Caleb came up and wanted to play "with me"! Love this boy!

Here we are celebrating Ethan's birthday with Grandpa and Grandma Morley. (notice the dog looking out for falling crumbs! =)
Our family participated in a Trump Train a few weeks ago. There was much enthusiasm and a couple hundred cars involved! Thank the Lord for a leader in the last 4 years who has led us in a strong, American direction.

Our 4 oldest children and several cousins had a youth night at the house of friends of ours who are leading our youth group in a Bible study every other week. We had a chili supper, camp fire, games and a hay ride!
Jonathan has a buddy in our half grown, Alpine goat!

We recently tackled the project of cutting a back door into the house and adding a deck and steps. For a couple days, we had a big hole in the side of the house!!

And here it is, all the siding put back up except for behind the porch where we plan to put stone. You can also see the the fruit of the boy's wood splitting project!

Cousins and best friends!

We, along the with local cousins, decided to take an afternoon of a beautiful day to go kayaking!

The weather was delightful and the scenery very pleasant! Can't wait until spring when we can go again!

Blessings to all,

Susanna
